Hanser & Associates Wins National Award

Des Moines PR Firm Recognized for Crisis Communications Expertise

DES MOINES (July 18, 2002) - Hanser & Associates, in conjunction with The Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council, was honored with a 2001 Gold Circle Award from American Society of Association Executives. 

Hanser & Associates received the recognition for "excellence and innovation in crisis communications" for its role in development of Guide to Health Care Crisis Communications. 

Ronald Hanser, president of Hanser & Associates, wrote sections of the Council's guide, which described how healthcare organization should effectively manage crises. The guide includes descriptions of crisis situations managed by the PR firm for its clients across the nation.
