Amanda Byers, APR

Account Manager

A public relations professional since 2004, Amanda joined Hanser & Associates in 2006.

She provides counsel, strategic planning, media relations and other public relations services nationwide to a variety of clients in the consumer, destination/tourism/travel, healthcare, financial and other industry sectors.

Before joining the firm, she was communication intern for Community Housing Development Corporation where she developed and implemented new promotional materials for the non-profit organization.

Amanda also promoted RedBull North America as a member of the marketing team, reported for various sections of the Press Citizen, a Gannett publication and worked as Marketing Coordinator at a Des Moines-based salon.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Grand View College.

Amanda is an accredited (APR) member of the Public Relations Society of America and treasurer-elect for the central Iowa chapter.

Away from the office, Amanda enjoys being a homebody with her husband, game night with her girlfriends, Netflix marathons, trying new restaurants and spending time with her family.
